Back on Track Dog Tarsus Protector

The Back On Track® Tarsal Guard is made from a revolutionary, durable polyester material that incorporates a unique ceramic weave that gives it heat-reflecting properties. The product adjusts with Velcro straps.

To get the proper size, measure the circumference of the animal's leg above the first joint (tarsus) to get the upper leg dimension. Measure the circumference of the animal's leg between the top of the leg and the tarsal joint (hock) to get the lower leg dimension. Then, measure the length of the leg from the top of the leg.

The tarsal guard does not reinforce or immobilize the limbs or act as a splint. However, when fitted securely but comfortably (using the hook-and-loop straps), it forms a sturdy support, still allowing normal movement.
