The soft-bristled S1 brush should be used after deep brushing, like the ones performed by the S2 and S3 brushes. The most effective way to use it is as follows:

-Hold the brush so that your hand is enclosed in the strap. The firmness it provides will help make the movement more balanced.
-Always brush in the same direction as the hair. The goal is to remove any dirt from the coat. This is the only way to achieve a uniform appearance.
-The movement will always be done by sliding the bristles of the brush, and always in the direction favorable to hair growth.
